I was recently publishing Exchange with the fabulous KEMP Loadmaster. I used the Exchange 2010 templates from KEMP http://kemptechnologies.com/au/resource-library/
First I created the SSO Domain (just an example below)
Then I created the VS
Then I configured the SSL settings on the VS. Since the Exchange 2010 environment requires SSL, we also need to set up reencryption as the template use default HTTP to Exchange servers
Then we need to configure our SubVS. As we can se ESP as turned off on the default VS. This is because there are no service that need authentication. And we will be using this for redirection which require no authentication.
So we will go ahead and modify our OWA SubVS in this example. First the ESP options. Choose SSO domain you created, and set allow virtual host (use what users type in the browser. I am using *.* only as an example)
and then Real server (Exchange CAS)
So now we should be able to browse to our VS and get login prompt. But in my case, I was only getting 403 – The website requires you to log in
From the Extended ESP security Log I found this
May 21 10:56:42 KEMP01 l7log: Blocked access to invalid host ‘testkemp.test.com’ from KEMP IP:64014 to VS IP:443
Then I checked the SubVS Exchange 2010 HTTPS Offloaded with ESP – Authentication Proxy. This is not a Exchange service, but dedicated to KEMP ESP. This was not configured, and needed configuring as well.
This SubVS should not have any real servers deployed.
And then if I try to go to published URL
