The last month I noticed that everytime I started Outlook without internet connection it crashed. I found this very strange so I started investigating it in more detail. I also talked to a couple of collegaues and they said excact the same.
After a lot of trying I nailed it down to the TeamViewer Addon in Outlook. To disable the plugin go into File – Options:
Then you go to Addins and hit the GO button:
From here you can disable the Teamviewer plugin.
The next time you try to start Outlook without connection to Internet or against Exchange it will not crash. At least this helped me.
I also found out that Teamviewer has fixed this issue. I had this issue with the Teamviewer version 11.0.53254 and after I updated it to the latest version this was not an issue anymore.
